Event description
Hundreds of different flavour compounds have been identified in wine. These can be traced back to different grape varieties, winemaking techniques and microorganisms.
During this webinar, you will learn to identify 10 important flavour compounds in red wine. The compounds that will be discussed include rotundone, eucalyptol and vanillin.
Optionally, you can learn to identify these flavours using the tasting kit. The tasting kit consists of 11 samples of the same neutral wine ? the first wine is untreated, while the remaining 10 wines each have an individual flavour compound added. Another option is to use flavouring vials to make your own additions to wine.
The webinar will also be recorded and uploaded to my YouTube channel.
